Roots and Wings: Meryl Bartho

Did I mention I have been feeling homesick. Well here is more of that. I love this quote from Sweet Home Alabama and it fits me just right today.

Soar/Sprinkle Fun: Robyn Gough

Robyn's new Childhood Adventures Kits and Elements are sooo much fun! I love what I came up with. It was so much fun trying to resemble the water everywhere with the glitter spatters.

Joys

Can be found in DSP's Inspiration Station.

I was looking through some old pictures and found this one of my niece during a shoot when she was 1. She is so big now but I just had to make this for her.

I used soft light overlay effect on the pictures with the lime lemonade stand background and also desaturated it some.

Lovely

La Jolla Cove
San Diego, CA
When we got to la
jolla cove we heard the
sea lions immediately but
couldn’t see them. then we
down the raiL & We saw
100s of them. earlier
at breakfast
we had seen 1
and taken 100s of pictures.
we just had to laugh. had we
just waited maybe that 1 would
not have been so impressive

Journaling:

Her children arise and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
Proverbs 31:28-29

I remember you mentioning this verse when you talked about Abuela Rosa. I can’t help but tell Adreana that I think this verse talks about you and I hope one day she will think this same about me because I learned from the best and what you taught me was to love God first just like your mom taught you.

May in our Yard

I used DSPs fabulous May club digital for this layout...

Journaling:
May time is definitely
a fun time in our yard.
We have butterflies
and ladybugs, praying
manthis and spiders
We also have straw-
berries, red and ready
to be picked., flowering
chives, parsley and
lots of rosemary. We
keep hoping for some
cilantro. The best
part of all is some
good times together.

Even Super Heroes

The back story... Before his birthday party I made all our guests capes that they would decorate the day of the party but I decided to make his extra special. I but his oval and a lightning bolt on one side just like he asked for and on the other side I added a B for his name. Well he didn't like it. I mean really didn't like it and here are the results of me trying to take his picture with the B. Poor little guy. 3 years later it is funny but at the moment...
