Weekly Wonder at DSP

This past week I was privileged to be the weekly wonder at DSP. My layout with my friends cuties was in the front page and used as their facebook picture.

And since I am pretty sure I hadn't shared it with you here it is for further inspection.

I had the privilege of capturing pictures of a sweet friends babies and this is one of my favorites.

I knew French Blue Page Kit Plus by Meryl Bartho
would be perfect for the softness I wanted. The elements are so perfect for layering.

I overlayed the picture over the smoky gray backgorund and then overlayed the misty over the cardwood backgrounds.

Did I mention I have been feeling homesick. Well here is more of that. I love this quote from Sweet Home Alabama and it fits me just right today.

I scrap mostly of my kid and this cute doggy.   I was looking for some summer pictures for this awesome kit by Meryl when I ran across this photo and just had to use it.

Journaling:
Molly quickly became my dog. She follows me around everywhere I go and gives me so much love. How did I ever get along without her? Love you puppy.

Journaling:

Her children arise and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
Proverbs 31:28-29

I remember you mentioning this verse when you talked about Abuela Rosa. I can’t help but tell Adreana that I think this verse talks about you and I hope one day she will think this same about me because I learned from the best and what you taught me was to love God first just like your mom taught you.
